It smells like rain.  It’s warm enough to throw open all the windows.  There is hope that the season of rebirth is on the way.

    Yes! Remember in Italy when spring came, and it was the most delightful thing in the whole world? First the smells of the burning olive branches wafting up the cliff, then spring rain, then the flowers in the garden, and then the wisteria! It makes me sigh thinking about it.
